This bound volume contains the “Personal War Sketches” of Civil War veterans belonging to GAR William L. Baker Post 86 of Northampton Massachusetts.
Published by Louis H. Everts of Philadelphia, the Personal War Sketches Book was a [mass-produced… publication] that was distributed to various G. A. R. posts throughout the country.
