Message on back reads: "Here for 'tea' Sat afternoon. Carla + friends took me for an 'outing.' Charles left Sat A.M. (alone) via auto. I will write you in day or two. Thanks for letter to me + to Charles too. Yes he will be pleased. / Love / May"
Back is addressed to: "Mrs. S. P. Southmayd / Durham / Conn. / R. F. D."
