Color image labeled "Looking up Main St." Point of view is from the center of the street from the lower end of Main St. Many pedestrians can be seen on both sidewalks as well as crossing the street. A horse and buggy drives up Main St while a trolley car drives down the opposite way. Many store fronts on both sides of street with awnings and signs. The word "stone" is visible on one sign, as well as "Hampshire" on a different sign. A few trees can be seen on each side.
Message on back reads: "Sept. 8, 1908 / Dear Gg: - Arrived home O. K. Marg's train was in when we arrived, but it didn't go out for some time. I made mine O. K. There was a Burgy car waiting. Alice + L. were home before me + I found uncle Massicotte [?] at the house. He left this A. M. for the convention Tues + Wed, he said he is going to see you, perhaps Wednesday after everything was over. / Annah / Tell Alfred if he comes Sat. I will meet him and we will go to the show.
Back is addressed to: "Mrs. Fred Martin / 181 Broadway, / Chicopee Falls, Mass."
