Left side of street has a few storefronts with striped awnings. More buildings can be seen in the distance where Main St curves. Trolley tracks can be seen on the road, as well as a trolley car driving down the street. Horse and buggies as well as a biker ride up the street.
Message on back reads: "I am trying to work so fast that, as you can see, I occasionally make mistakes. This is really a poor picture of upper Main St., but it shows the places or vicinity we visit for ice cream sodas and college ices. Am sorry I haven't written you more letter. Thanks much for all of yours. Much love from M. E. H."
Back is addressed to: "Miss Marjorie D. Gould / Mountainhurst / Troy / New Hamp."
