Playgrounds, Laurel Park
Image ID: WPC 02:117Front:
Color image of the playgrounds in Laurel Park. Pictured are people playing croquet and tennis, as well as many people observing the games. The auditorium can be seen through the trees behind the playgrounds. A net surrounds the tennis court. Other buildings can be partially seen through the trees.
Message on back reads: "Tuesday, 11th / Dear Friend--Now we think we'll go home for the winter next Sunday. Hope to see you over here before we go. It has been cold and raining most of the time since you left the Park so nothing has been gone on your roof. Hansley was in one day last week but said he could do nothing till it got warm and dry. / Trust you are quite well and that you can have a nice time here soon. / Love from us both--Alice."
