Charles E. Sidell

Portrait of Charles E. Sidell, member of the 57th Regiment, Company I. The 1880 U.S. Census lists him as working in cutlery and living on 163 Riverside Dr. (then Main St.) He is buried on Park St. in Florence, MA. He was born on July 5th, 1831 in Germany and died on February 17th, 1918; he married Eva Katherine Lindenbach in 1853. He is listed as a teamster and as wounded during the war. He was enlisted from February 22nd, 1864 to July 30th, 1865.
