In this interview, Bellavance-Grace reflects on her life and experiences in the Pioneer Valley including her unprecedented engagement announcement in the local newspaper and the following unique marriage ceremony. She discusses the importance that community has played in her life, as well as her role in creating and fostering those communities. Bellavance-Grace also speaks about the changes she has noticed in the Noho Pride event and in Northampton at large since moving here in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
